In order to have your Chroma Digitizing Software operate on two devices, you need to have the latest version of Chroma 3.52. This version of Chroma supports activation on 2 devices and has to be downloaded from your Customer.Ricoma.com portal.
Once you have downloaded it, please DO NOT uninstall the previous version, install the new version and it will then make your older version compatible. If you do not download the newest version, you will not be able to use Chroma on two devices.
Using Your Customer Portal
The software is available to be downloaded from the MyRicoma Customer Portal, at Customer.ricoma.com under the Chroma product page (as seen in the image above).
Your serial number is found on your packing slip attached to your tracking email and is only good for activation on only two devices.

INSTALLING CHROMA ON MAC OS
Follow the Instructions Below for Installation:
- The Website will Automatically determine your OS and download the appropriate version. *The program should download automatically*
- Click on Finder and navigate to your Downloads folder.
- Click on the Chroma Install file to open up the setup window.
- Follow the setup instructions.
- Choose the hard drive that you would like to download the software onto and click “Install.”
- After the installation is complete, you can choose to either “Keep” or “Delete” the software file. *We recommend keeping it in case of reinstallation*
- Now, navigate to your Chroma app and open it.
- Complete the Activation form, which requires your name, company name, phone number, and email.
- Input the serial number provided at the time of purchase. *Include dashes in between groups of characters*
- Click “Activate” and select “No” when prompted to activate another software. Chroma should open automatically.
INSTALLING CHROMA ON WINDOWS
Follow the Instructions Below:
- The Website will Automatically determine your OS and download the appropriate version. *The program should download automatically*
- Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your Downloads folder.
- Double click on the Chroma Install file to open up the setup window.
- Now, click “Next” to proceed, and select “Install.”
- After the installation is complete, click “Finish” to close the installation wizard.
- Double click on the Chroma desktop shortcut that was created.
- Complete the Activation form, which requires your name, company name, phone number, and email.
- Input the serial number provided at the time of purchase. *Include dashes in between groups of characters*
- Click “Activate” and select “No” when prompted to activate another software. Chroma should open automatically.
