How Do I Move My Chroma Software to a New PC?

If you're looking to move your Chroma digitizing software to a new computer, you'll want to make sure you have the latest version of the software. With the latest version, you'll be able to use the software on two different devices, but not at the same time.

Download the Latest Version

To ensure you have the latest version of Chroma, you can download it from your customer portal at customer.ricoma.com

Using Chroma on a New Computer

The process of using Chroma on a new computer is the same for both MAC and Windows PCs.

Follow these instructions:

  1. Deactivate on your Old Computer: Open Chroma on your old computer and go to the "Help" tab in the upper left menu. Click on "Activate" and then select "Deactivate".

2. Activate on Your New Computer: On your new computer, open Chroma and it will prompt you to activate. Simply activate the software on your new device.

3. If you get a message that says "Activation Limit Reached" please send us a message to service@ricoma.com or please give us a call at (305) 418-4421 and select option 3 so we can reset your license on our end.
