SWIFT: Adjusting the Presser Foot Height on my SWIFT Embroidery Machine?

PUBLISHED

At times, you may need to adjust the presser foot height to accommodate the thickness of certain fabrics. The standard presser foot height is 1.5mm. Many embroiderers lower the presser foot height when embroidering on structured caps.

Follow these steps to adjust the presser foot height:

1. Take off the metal cover on the front of your machine.

2. Go to the needle icon on your screen and choose the needle that needs adjusting.

3. Click the 180° icon to bring the needle to its lowest point.

4. Use the 1.5mm Allen key and place it underneath the presser foot. If you cannot place it, the presser foot is too low.

5. Take a Philips screwdriver and loosen the screw on the presser foot driver.

6. Bring the screw down until it hits the Allen key and tighten it.

7. Press the 100° key to bring the needle back up.

8. Place the metal cover back on.
