First, it's important to determine whether the issue is happening with ALL needles or just one or a couple.
If it's only happening with one or a few needles, it's possible that the issue could be related to the Thread Path or the Tension being too tight.
Make sure that your upper and bottom tension knobs are not too tight and that the wheel underneath the middle knob spins when you pull the thread from the bottom of the machine. (marked in orange below)
Adjust Sensor Sensitivity (If All Needles Are Affected)
If the issue is happening with multiple needles and the machine is stopping after a few seconds, it may be that the sensor sensitivity is too high. To adjust the sensor sensitivity, follow these steps:
- Open Settings in the bottom right corner of the panel.
- Press Embroidery Parameters.
- Go to the Thread Break tab.
- Find A01. Thread Break Sensitivity.
- Make sure it is set to 6 (the average setting).
- If false thread breaks continue, try increasing it to 7, 8, or 9 and test the machine.
If it continues to stop, and all other areas are correct, then it's possible the sensor may be faulty and might need to be replaced. Please let us know if this is the case.
