Start by drawing a cross on the center of the Mighty Hoop. There are holes on the X and Y sides that you can place a ruler or straight edge on to draw the cross.
Select the hoop letter you wish to reprogram for the Mighty Hoop and let the frame center itself. Each letter can only be programmed for one hoop. The Cap and "Other" hoops cannot be programmed for Mighty Hoops. After a letter is programmed for a Mighty Hoop, the original hoop for that letter may no longer work correctly.
Place the Mighty Hoop on the frame when it finishes centering.
Move the head to needle 1, then move the frame using the arrow keys to place the needle over the cross on the Mighty Hoop.
Write down the X/Y values from the screen. These will be used to correct your center points.
Convert the Mighty Hoop size from inches to millimeters. Then, subtract 25mm from the X and Y sizes. (In the example below, an 11x13 Mighty Hoop was used.)
Go to the Frame Parameters and change the X size and Y size to the new values from the previous conversion. The Rounded value will always be 25 for all Mighty Hoops.
To correct the center points, you will need to get the current X and Y OffSet values and then add or subtract the X/Y values you wrote down after centering the needle over the cross. If the value is negative, you subtract. Otherwise, you add them to the current value.
Return to the Hoop Selector screen and reselect the Hoop. Once the Frame recenters itself, verify the hoop is centered by lowering the needle, which should be over the cross.
If the Mighty Hoop is centered, you have finished setting up the hoop for that letter, and the Mighty Hoop is ready for use.
