10S: Sending Files From Chroma

To send DST files from Chroma Digitizing Software using your computer to an embroidery machine with a 10S control panel, you must have the 10S panel connected to a WiFi network and Chroma Version 7.22 or higher.

10s Control Panel Instructions.

Follow these steps on your embroidery machine to enable the Wi-Fi transfer server:

  • Navigate to 'Settings'
  • Select 'Machine Management'
  • Choose 'Front Wi-Fi Transmission Design'
  • On 'Start The Server' click on the button to the right. This will slide the switch from left to right, and the gray area will change to blue. This means the feature is now enabled.
  • Please document the IP Address
  • Please also document the Port Address

 

Sending the Files From Chroma To The 10S Control Panel

  • Make sure the 10S control panel is connected to the same network as the computer Chroma is being used from.
  • Save the File as a DST File.
  • On Chroma, click on 'File' then scroll down and click on 'Send to Machine'.


  • Click on 'My Machine' and then click on 'Edit'. A new window will pop up.
  • For Type, select 'RICOMA HTTP'.
    For Address, input the IP Address your 10S control panel has assigned.
    For Format, select 'DST'.
    For Port, insert the 4 digital port addresses.
    Then press 'OK'.


  • Then press 'Send'.


  • If done correctly, a box should appear and say "Done".

    At this point, the design will be sent to the 10S Control Panel, and it will appear inside 'Select Design' under the "Machine" tab.
