PUBLISHED

If you're experiencing issues with your embroidery machine's trimmer or have encountered the "Trim Not in Position" error message, don't worry. This guide will walk you through the troubleshooting process and help you get your machine up and running again.

Step 1: Expose the Blades.

To access the blade, remove the needle plate and covers on the sewing arm. The following videos will show you how to do this for different machine models:

Step 2: Check for Thread Build-Up and See if the blades move.

Ensure that the area around the blade is clean and free of any thread build-up. Then, press the "Scissor" or "Trim" button to see if the blade moves.

If the blades do not move:

  • Check if the rod is connected to the blades correctly.

.

  • If the blades still don't move, check if the bar located on the back of the sewing arm is in place.

If the blades do move:

  • Make sure that the blade is positioned correctly, with only the tip visible.
