Centering Hoop 8s Panel

PUBLISHED

Centering a hoop on your Ricoma embroidery machine is a simple process that is easy to follow and can be done in a few seconds. In general, the method for centering the hoop is the same for every machine.

You'll need to edit the parameters once you find the center.

General Steps to Follow:

Here are the steps on how to center your hoop:

1. Using the arrows center your design in the garment where you want it.

2. Write down the PX and PY values on the display (round them to the closest number, there might be negative values)

3. On the control panel, click on the 'EMB Param' button first.

4. Then, click on the 'Frame' button.

5. Search for the hoop that you are currently using and change the X Center to the PX Value you wrote down, and the Y Center to the PY Value.

6. Select "OK" and reselect your hoop. Your machine should be now centered on the new values we input.

If the problem persists, please see the additional steps below.

If you are still having trouble centering your hoops...

Helpful Tip: Parameter" and “Frame” are the two options on the control panel of your machine that can assist with centering your hoop. Centering a hoop is very important because it ensures your design will not embroider off-center.
