Accurate timing is essential because it ensures the needle speed and other moving components of your embroidery machine are in sync so they can perform your embroidery project efficiently.
When the timing is off, your machine can encounter issues such as skipped stitches and inconsistent stitch patterns which can ruin your entire design.
To Adjust your Timing follow the steps outlined in this video:
1. Loosen the 4 Philip screws located on each side of the arm to remove the side cover, and then remove the needle plate by unscrewing the two flat screws on top of the needle plate. Take off the bobbin case.
2. After removing the needle plate, move your main axis shaft by rotating it using your hand
Rotate counter-clockwise with the knob on the right side of the machine to 195 degrees.

If the needle does not come down, try doing another full turn.
3. Now we can check to see if the timing is correct:
Rotary hook timing is too early.
Rotary hook timing is too late
Rotary hook timing is just right
(If you verify that your timing is correct you don't need to perform the adjustment)
4. To adjust it you'll need to loosen the first flat-head screw on the right side of the rotary hook. Rotate the main axis wheel until the second flat head screw appears and loosen it. Then, rotate the main axis again until the last flat end screw appears and loosen it as well. 3 screws in total.
5. Now the rotary hook should be moving independently of the lower shaft.
6. Rotate the main axis and bring down the needle to the correct timing degree of 195°.
7. Line up the tip of the hook with the scarf of the needle so that it hides behind it.

8. With a gap of 0.1mm to 0.3mm between the hook and the needle’s scarf, hold the rotary hook steady and tighten the set screw on the right side.

9. Rotate the main axis and tighten the other two flat head screws you loosened previously.
10. Install the side cover and screw the needle plate back into place.
11. Finally, test the machine.
