Why Is the Image Quality Low on My Luminaris 200?

PUBLISHED

Image quality is perhaps one of the most important assets that printers have when it comes to printing a quality image, design, or logo. If you find that the quality of your images is low or they don’t come out as high-quality as you would have liked, there are steps you can take to ensure your images have consistent quality.

Follow the instructions below

  1. To check if you have image quality issues, print a stock image to make sure it prints correctly. If it is printed correctly, then you probably have a file issue.
  2. If the printed image has issues, print test pages (in color) for Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black on regular copy paper and make sure there are no voids or blank lines in them.
  3. If you see that a specific color has issues, change the toner cartridge of that color.
  4. If there are no issues with the colors, stop the print before the paper gets to the fuser unit and make sure there are no voids or blank lines.
  5. If voids or blank lines are clearly visible, it may be due to issues with the transfer section of the printer. This is the part that transfers the toner from the belt to the transfer sheet.
  6. Then, visually check the transfer section to see if there are any issues.
  7. If there are no issues with the transfer section, visually inspect the fuser unit for issues.
