The easy-to-use LuminRIP print software is included with the Luminaris 200 White Toner Transfer Printer. Whether it’s printing a design for a shirt or printing black and white documents on office paper, LuminRIP gives you complete control over every aspect of the printing process.
If you're having trouble selecting the "activate" button on LuminRip, the first step is navigating the download process. Follow the steps below to properly download the software.
Log Into Your Ricoma Customer Portal
The LuminRip software is available to download from your customer portal at customer.ricoma.comunder the Luminaris 200 product page. Be sure to keep an eye out for your serial number, which is found on the packing slip attached to your tracking email.
IMPORTANT: The serial number is good for activation on only ONE device.
The software works on both Mac and PC operating systems, and prior to the installation of your software, the website will automatically determine which to download for you.
Follow the installation instructions below:
Installing LuminRIP on MAC OS:
- Click on Finder and navigate to your downloads folder.
- Then, click on the LuminRIP Install File to open up the setup window.
- Follow the setup instructions.
- Choose the hard drive you would like to download the software onto and click “Install.”
- Afte the installation is complete. You can choose to either “Keep” or “Delete” the software file. (We strongly recommend keeping it in case of reinstallation).
- Navigate to your LuminRIP application and open it.
- Proceed to complete the activation form, which requires your name, company name, phone number, and email.
- Input the serial number provided at the time of purchase and include dashes in between groups of characters.
- Click “Activate” and select “No” when prompted to activate another software. LuminRIP should open automatically.
When Unable to Activate
There are a few different reasons why the activate button may be greyed out and you're unable to select it.
First, make sure that...
- You are using the serial number included in the packing slip. The packing slip is a PNG file sent to your email. You can also find your serial number under the product page in your customer portal.
- All fields with an asterisk are filled in.
- You did not include “S/N” when entering the serial number.
- You are connected to the internet.
- If you have ensured that everything mentioned above is correct and you still cannot select the “activate” button, close the software, restart your computer and then try to activate the software again.
Installing LuminRIP on Windows OS:
- Open windows explorer and navigate to your downloads folder.
- Double-click on the LuminRIP Install file to open up the setup window.
- Click on “Next” to proceed, and select “Install.”
- After the installation is complete, click “Finish” to close the installation wizard.
- Double-click on the LuminRIP desktop shortcut that was created.
- Complete the activation form, which requires your name, company name, phone number, and email.
- Input the serial number provided at the time of purchase, including dashes in between groups of characters.
- Click “Activate” and select “No” when prompted to activate another software. LuminRIP should open automatically.
