There are several reasons why you may be having issues with printing designs.
We suggest you check that your printer is connected via ethernet, USB, or Wi-Fi. This ensures that your printer is connected via network to begin normal printing operations. However, we also recommend resetting your software, as sometimes glitches in the system can occur. We explain how to reset your software in two instructional videos below.
First, you need to check if your printer is connected via ethernet, USB or WiFi.
If it is connected via ethernet cable:
- Make sure you have an IP address showing on the printer’s control panel.
- Ping the IP address on the printer with your computer.
- On Windows, search "Command Prompt" in your search bar next to the Windows icon and click on the app when it appears.
- On Mac, click on the Search Tool (the magnifying glass) on the top right corner and search “Terminal.” This should open the app to test the connection.
- Once in the app, type "Ping” and your IP address to test the connection.
- You should receive a response in the app.
- If there is no reply, make sure the machine is able to pull an IP address that is in the same range as your computer’s IP address.
- If there is a reply, go to the LuminRIP software and add the printer. Make sure to test the print function to ensure that the design will go to the printer.
If the printer is connected via WiFi, follow the same instructions for the ethernet option.
If it is connected via USB, make sure you have selected the “Ricoh C301” in the LuminRIP software. As the printer will not be named “Luminaris 200.”
Resetting your LuminRIP Software
Since the LuminRIP software is available on both Windows and MAC platforms, we have provided two videos for both operating systems. The process is similar; however, we want to provide you with as much information as possible to get your printer back up and running.

After following our walk-through videos, you should be able to print your designs from your Luminaris 200 printer via the LuminRIP software.
