Why Is My Heat Press Display in Chinese After Hard Reset or Power Outage?

PUBLISHED

All Ricoma heat presses have the ability to operate in different languages, in the settings menu, you can change your language preference. The reason why your machine reverts to Chinese after a hard reset or power outage is because the machine’s native operating language is Chinese.

When changing the language back to English, you also need to go through several more steps to ensure that the proper temperature settings are in place, since they have likely been changed during your reset or power outage.

Follow the steps below to change your language and revert to correct temperature settings.

  1. Press on the Settings icon on the top right.
  2. Press “Language” and choose the button with Chinese characters.
  3. Press the icon on the top left to go back.
