If your ink cartridges are unable to be read by your DTG printer, it is very likely that they are not inserted all the way in their slots for the sensor at the back to recognize them. To solve this issue, remove each ink cartridge one by one and push them back in firmly until they “click” into place. Your DTG printer should now be able to read all of the ink cartridges.
Try These Extra Steps:
If the problem persists...
- Make sure all ink cartridges are removed
- Turn off and restart your DTG printer
- Then, re-insert all ink cartridges one by one
- Afterward, look at your control panel
- Check if your DTG printer recognizes them
Filing a Warranty Claim
As a last resort, if none of the above steps solve the error message, you may need to file a warranty claim with the manufacturer as there could also be another underlying problem with the machine itself or defective ink cartridges.
