Storage Or Transport Preparation
If you plan to leave your DTG Vision printer unused for more than 7 days, or if you're preparing to move or ship the machine, it's essential to place it into Long-Term Storage Mode. This procedure helps protect the printhead, ink system, and internal components from damage due to ink drying, pressure changes, or mechanical movement.
Unlike short-term storage, long-term storage requires a deeper flush and more thorough preparation to ensure your printer stays in optimal condition, ready to power back on without costly repairs or downtime.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the step-by-step instructions to safely store or transport your DTG Vision printer, ensuring maximum protection during extended periods of inactivity.
Tools Needed:
-
White Cap Jig
-
Storage Solution or Ink Flushing Solution
(If unavailable, cleaning solution may be used temporarily for up to 24–48 hours. However, we recommend ordering more storage fluid as prolonged use of cleaning solution can damage the nozzles.)
