If you won’t be using your DTG Vision printer for a few days, it’s important to properly prepare it for short-term storage. Activating 1-Week Storage Mode helps protect your printhead and internal components by preventing ink clogs and buildup during downtime.
This process is also the first recommended step in addressing a white ink clog, as it helps soften any dried ink and clears the path for more effective cleaning.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through how to put your DTG Vision into 1-Week Storage Mode step by step—so your printer stays protected and ready to perform at its best when you return.
⚠️ Important: This guide is intended for short-term storage of 7 days or less.
If you plan to leave your printer unused for longer than 7 days, please follow the Extended Storage Procedure, which requires additional steps to avoid long-term damage.
Tools Needed:
-
White Cap Jig
-
Storage Solution or Ink Flushing Solution
(If unavailable, cleaning solution may be used temporarily for up to 24–48 hours. However, we recommend ordering more storage fluid as prolonged use of cleaning solution can damage the nozzles.)
