Adding Your Printer to VividRip: Once VividRip is installed and running, the next crucial step is connecting your DTG printer to the software. This ensures VividRip is properly configured for your specific device, enabling accurate print settings, efficient ink channel control, and smooth job processing from start to finish.
In this guide, we’ll walk you through the process of adding your printer to VividRip, whether you’re setting it up for the first time or reconfiguring after a software update. Follow these steps to get your printer connected and ready to print with confidence!
Connect to Wi-Fi First:
Before adding your printer in VividRip, make sure your DTG printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network. A stable network connection is essential for VividRip to properly detect and communicate with your printer.
Adding your printer:
Start by opening your Vividrip software. On the top right, click on File. Then, click on Select Printer.
- Proceed to click on the three dots (...), then click on Add a Printer
- You will see the window below. On the printer model drop-down bar, select Ricoma-Vision.
- You will now have to either:
1.Use the magnifying glass icon to search for the printer IP address
2.Manually type it in, then click OK.
Finally, click on OK again for the window pictured below.
- Your Machine is now added to Vividrip! To ensure, you can check on the top right corner to make sure you see your printer listed.
