How Do I Heat Press Ceramic Plates with My Luminaris 200 White Toner Transfer Printer?

PUBLISHED

Your Luminaris 200 White Toner Transfer Printer and heat press are the perfect tools to customize ceramic plates. Please refer to the instructions below for how to customize ceramic plates using these machines:

  1. Print using hard surface premium paper (glossy side up).
  2. Do not mirror design. When the print comes out the design will be mirrored, but will appear correctly once it is pressed onto the plate.
  3. Cut Out the logo and add tape on both sides of the paper so that the image is facing the plate.
  4. Use your heat press into the plate at 300F for 180 seconds
  5. Let the design cool down for 5 minutes
  6. After peeling in water please be careful not to touch the design since it can still be scratched / damaged at this point.
  7. Please bake the mug for 20 minutes at 360F degrees to properly "cook" the design into the plate.

Hard surface Premium Paper that we recommend: IColor Premium 1 Step Hard Surface Transfer Paper - Letter Size
